'Memorate' a group exhibtion

A memorate is an oral narrative from memory relating to a personal experience, especially the precursor of a legend. These stories may have begun long ago with the blowing out of birthday candles or the tea parties we used to conduct with stuffed animals. Each story we created and started young shapes us, turning our lives into legends from stories we once read. Memorate is a group exhibition that explores the threads of these stories and how they interweave together to tell broader stories about ourselves. The stories of each artist are told in a Salon-style hanging, with similar themes, identities, and narratives being seen across the works. Together, they form a tapestry woven from the stories of artists from all different backgrounds.
